So I want to add an hdd if possible but I would like to do so without voiding warranty

Looks like you can't add 2.5" HDD/SSD because the series does not offer dual storage and no parts and space for 2.5" HDD/SSD. You can replace 256GB M.2 SSD with a larger (capacity) M.2 SSD
