OMEN by HP 15-dc1002nc
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, can I upgrade my ssd to Samsung 860 EVO M.2 1000 GB on OMEN by HP 15-dc1002nc? Is it compatible?

Compatible yes but you would be replacing an NVME M.2 with a SATA and giving up quite a bit of performance. HP did not even offer a SATA M.2 as an option: only NVME. I suggest you get a Samsung 970 Evo instead and yes a 1 TB would work fine.

Manual

On this model opening up the back for upgrade of memory, storage or wifi is permittted without any warranty problems at all.

See p. 34-39
