I recently found an icon near the USB Type-C port in my laptop, similar to the Thunderbolt icon. I tried to connect a 4k monitor through this port, and it worked, displaying the image correctly. However, on the HP website, in the laptop specification, this port is listed as a simple USB Type-C port, not a Thunderbolt, and the operating system says the same. Why then does image output work? Is this a USB Type-C or Thunderbolt? What is its operating speed, is it possible to use it to connect an external video card?
