Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Bought HP laptop here in Norway, 14s series, branded here as 14s-fq1006no (couldnt find the product from the serial number on the packaging). Have issues connecting to the Dell docking station WD15.  I suspect it has to do with USB-C port on laptop. On the online store specifications mentioned that USB C is USB-C 3.2 Gen1.

When i connect docking station cable the light on the cable is not on. The mouse and keyboard are working through the docking station but not the monitor.

I wonder if there is remedy, or this docking station is just not compatible with the laptop hardware?

When you are having isues with the display, does the notebook's display work?

Hold down the Windows key and tap the P key to choose the displays you want to use.

The options in the menu you see should be:

PC Screen only

Duplicate

Extend

Second screen only

Have exchanged laptop on guarantee with the one that has Thunderbolt 4 USb-C. Monitors work fine through the docking station now.
