Product: HP EliteBook 840 G6 Notebook PC

A few days ago I replaced my laptop's SSD. Since then, the boot process has become unstable:

1. I press the power button - it turns on briefly, then shuts off after a few seconds.
2. On the next, the keyboard backlight flashes once, then only Caps Lock LED stays lit (not blinking).
3. After a few more power cycles, the F11 key LED lights up.
4. Once F11 becomes stable, F5 and F8 key LEDs also start lighting up.
5. When F5, F8, and F11 are all lit together, the fan starts spinning.
6. After repeating this cycle a few times, the HP logo finally appears and Windows boots normally.

Once Windows loads, the laptop works fine with no issues.

 

The issue still persists. Could this be a BIOS incompatibility with the new SSD, a loose connection, or a hardware fault? Any help identifying the exact cause would be appreciated.
