As my battery and HDD health reported a failure, I purchased both of the products by myself and replaced them with the help of a local technician along with OS re-installation. May I know, why the charging light is blinking while turning ON/OFF the laptop inclusive of plugging in and plugging out the adapter?

Hi @Akshay_1298,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
Have you made any changes to your software or hardware?
Have you made any changes to your OS? If yes, kindly check if that is compatible.
The blinking of the charging light on your HP Pavilion - 15-Cc129tx while turning the laptop on/off or plugging in/plugging out the adapter could indicate a few things:
Battery Level: If the battery level is low, the light may blink to indicate that the battery is being charged.
Charging Error: It could also indicate an issue with the charging process, such as a loose connection or a problem with the adapter.
Power Management: Some laptops have power management settings that cause the charging light to blink in certain situations, such as when the laptop is in sleep mode or when the battery is critically low.
Faulty Battery or Adapter: In some cases, a blinking charging light could indicate a problem with the battery or the adapter.
To troubleshoot, you can try the following steps:
- Ensure that the power adapter is securely connected to both the laptop and the power outlet.
- Check for any damage to the power adapter or the charging port on the laptop.
- Try using a different power adapter if possible to see if the issue persists.
- Check the battery health using the HP Support Assistant or a similar tool to see if it needs to be replaced.
If the issue continues, it may be best to contact HP phone support for further assistance.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi @Elohi_NR,
You're right. I'll list out the changes made in both Hardware and Software below,
Hardware changes:
1) Crucial P3 plus SSD from Amazon.
2) Compatible battery from the Local store.
Software changes:
1) OS re-installation without losing my data (except Local Disk C)
Note: This re-installation was done using Windows 11 directly by local support and so my laptop is Windows 11 compatible. A couple of years ago, I've given the same re-installation to HP service center that only Windows 10 can be installed directly. Post-installation you can convert to Windows 11 by using the Software Updates.
Charged my laptop for more than 3 hours and still my battery percentage displays as 10%. I've made some symptom tests from PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI attached as an image
As given in the symptom tests above, I'm still not sure about the primary source of this issue and still the question arises mentioned below,
1) Does the problem exist because of the battery?
2) Is the Adapter a main issue?
3) Is the problem affected due to OS re-installation?
4) Is the problem occurred while upgrading an Nvme SSD?

Hi @Akshay_1298,
This could be battery as well as other various reasons. This unit needs service.
I recommend you contact phone support for repair/service options.
