Hi @Sanidhya8,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand that the display on your HP Victus Gaming Laptop flickers approximately every two seconds, and the issue has returned after previously stopping for about a month.

Please confirm:

  1. What is the exact model or product number of the Victus laptop?
  2. If you connect an external monitor or TV, does that display also flicker?
  3. Does the flickering occur before Windows loads, such as on the HP logo, BIOS, or HP Diagnostics screen?

Please run the display hardware test outside Windows:

  1. Shut down the laptop.
  2. Turn it on and immediately press Esc repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
  3. Press F2 to open HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI.
  4. Select Component Tests.
  5. Select Video or Display, depending on the available options.
  6. Run the available display tests and note the results.
  7. If a test fails, record the complete 24-digit Failure ID.

While the F2 Diagnostics screen is open, check whether the display continues flickering every two seconds. HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI operates outside Windows, which helps determine whether the issue is related to hardware or Windows software.

Please let us know whether the laptop screen flickers in F2 Diagnostics, whether the external display is affected, and the diagnostic result. If you cannot upload the video, a clear screenshot of any test result or Failure ID will be sufficient.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
