HP Notebook - 15-da0053wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I have tried multiple times to upgrade to Windows 11 on my laptop. It says it is available and my computer is compatible. The first time I tried it and it didn't work, I ended up having to do a clean install of Windows 10 as it made it to where Windows 10 would no longer update. So far...I finally got that to work(after having trouble doing the clean install in the first place!) Now, I keep trying to do the Windows 11 upgrade but it just won't go through. This is the error code I keep getting now.

Installation failed in SAFE_OS phase with an error during BOOT operation, 0xC1900101 – 0x20017

I know the code number says it's something about a bad driver, but I cannot find one!!! I have downloaded Driver Booster(free version) and I have been to the HP website, intel, and others to update drivers from the websites but I cannot figure this out anymore. I have done a clean bootup and everything else that was suggested and it just will not go through. It downloads, it installs, but when it goes to restart it eventually will get this error. Also, i have to use Startup Repair to be able to actually start up the laptop again as this error keeps it from starting up!! I just don't know what else to do. (I have contacted microsoft multiple times with no luck either.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

Hi:

You can try a clean install of W11, since nothing else is working.

Make the bootable W11 USB installation flash drive with the media creation tool at the link below (2nd option).

Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)

I have done a clean install and even tried it in a clean boot environment(which actually took out the ability to use the flash drive so i had to figure out how to mount the file and go through that way). I've tried different things multiple times with no luck.
