Hi @CosmosVSChaos

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Apologies for the frustration—this issue seems to be affecting multiple users with OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop 16-n0000 (63B17AV) on Windows 11. Here are some steps to troubleshoot:

Check Touchpad Settings

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Touchpad and ensure it’s enabled.
  • If disabled, toggle it back on.

Perform a Hard Reset

  • Turn off the laptop and unplug it.
  • Hold the power button for 30 seconds to drain residual power.
  • Reconnect and power it on.

Update or Reinstall Touchpad Drivers

  • Open Device Manager > Mice and other pointing devices.
  • Right-click Touchpad Driver > Update Driver.
  • If updating doesn’t work, try Uninstalling and then Restarting the laptop.

Enable Touchpad via Function Keys

  • Some HP laptops have a function key (Fn + F7 or F9) to toggle the touchpad.
  • Try pressing it to see if it reactivates.

Run Windows Troubleshooter

  • Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other Troubleshooters > Keyboard or Hardware and Devices.
