Envy AH0G
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have recently acquired an HP Envy AH0G wireless keyboard that seems to be missing its wireless dongle. The keyboard seems to work fine based on its flashing LEDs when it is charging, but I have no way to use it without its dongle.

Is there a place where I am able to replace this keyboard's wireless dongle? I have tried the HP Support Center but the model number for this keyboard provides no results. I cannot find much else about this keyboard online, so I am turning here in search of answers. Thanks in advance.

@seedmaster101,

Thank you for posting your query on HP Support Community,

Could you provide me with the exact model of the Wireless keyboard? Use this link to find it:  https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03754824  (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).

Is it a Wireless keyboard or Bluetooth keyboard?

Usually if it's a wireless keyboard the dongle is placed right in front of the box. Please look properly as the USB dongle is a part shipped along with the keyboard and Mouse set.

Could you please respond to this post with the details, so that I can provide you with accurate information which should help you resolve this issue.

Eagerly waiting for your response!

Hi Jeet_Singh,

The keyboard that I am inquiring about is an HP Envy AH0G wireless keyboard. Below are some pictures taken of the backside of the keyboard that should provide the keyboard's information.

I purchased this keyboard from someone else awhile back without the dongle being included. I was told that the dongle was missing, and I assumed that I could purchase a replacement dongle for a cheap price.

My question is: Am I able to find a replacement dongle for my HP AH0G wireless keyboard?

@seedmaster101,

Thanks for the details,

Answering to your question - Am I able to find a replacement dongle for my HP AH0G wireless keyboard? No, Usually the keyboard/Mouse comes with USB dongle as a set.

If you don't find the USB receiver in the box then you need to purchase a new keyboard and mouse as the wireless receivers are not sold separately.

In your scenario, I would recommend you contact our HP support team for further assistance.

HP support team can be reached on www.hp.com/contacthp

I'm sure they should be able to go ahead and address your issue. Let me know if you need any further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help you.

Thank you and have a wonderful week ahead 😊

We just received the HP Envy 27 b255qd.  We were very surprised to see that the Keyboard is not, in fact, wireless.  It appears that it has a cord for a rechargeable battery.  Also, there is no Dongle.  If I am reading the Packing List correctly, it appears that the Dongle is Preinstalled???  If that is the case, what does the mouse run on?  Does it communicate with the preinstalled Dongle?  How long does the battery last before it needs recharging?  I really don't like that I can't just change the batteries when I want to.
