Here is the Service Manual:

Problem is, the keyboard is not a single replacement part. Its embedded in the whole top cover. HP does not refurbish 5 year old laptops. You would have to procure the part and do the replacement or have a computer repair shop do it. HP will no longer have the part in stock but it can likely be found in the secondary market. It is not likely to be cheap. It is also a fairly substantial repair task so would require some labor time and expense.

Thanks.  I was afraid of that.  The space key is slow to rebound; could something else cause that?

buildup of crud. Try blowing compressed air under it and then carefully with a Q-tip try a LITTLE rubbing alcohol to try to dissolve any deposits. Then dry with compressed air.

Thanks. I found a new (not used) keyboard and repalced it today.  Now my sound does not work.  The headphone jack works sort of but the computer speakers do not. The headphone jack worsk only if I plug the headphone plug in partially.  If I plug it in all of the way, only one side (left) works.... Any ideas?

I would say you forgot to reconnect something on reassembly.
