Pavilion ec1052ax
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hello
I recently purchased a pavilion gaming laptop ec1052ax and was overall happy with the product. I got fairly similar results to others in cinebench r20 consistently. However, for the past few days I have been consistently getting lower scores(around 100 points less) when running the same benchmark under similar room temperatures. Also, the cpu temperature is hitting 99 degree celsius each time I run the test whereas I was getting only around 90 degree celsius in the beginning under similar room temperature conditions. I would like to know why this degrade in not only cpu performance but also fan performance has happened (I noticed the fans are a little late to kick in once the benchmark starts, so I think that's probably why the temperature rises so significantly which never happened in the beginning). Is it because of some update and is there anything I can do to fix it?
