Hello,
My HP Omnibook 14 2-in-1 won't turn on and has the battery light (yellow) blinking. I tried the battery reset without any results. I tried to turn it on both attached to the chargers and without, and I tried different chargers. Any suggestions?

@Sephcs, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
If your HP Omnibook 14 2-in-1 is not turning on and the battery light is blinking yellow, it indicates a potential issue with the battery or power supply. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
Check Battery and Power Adapter:
- Ensure the battery is correctly seated and connected.
- Test with a known working HP charger to rule out issues with the power adapter.
- If possible, try using a different battery (if removable) to see if the issue persists.
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery if it is removable.
- Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to discharge any residual power.
- Reconnect the battery and power adapter, then try turning on the laptop.
Inspect for Physical Damage:
- Check for any visible signs of physical damage to the battery, charger, or charging port.
- Inspect the charging port for dust or debris, which could affect connectivity.
Try Booting Without Battery:
- If the battery is removable, try powering the laptop directly via the charger without the battery installed.
Test with External Monitor:
- Connect the laptop to an external monitor to see if the issue might be related to the display.
Check for BIOS/Hardware Issues:
- If possible, check the support website for any BIOS updates or hardware diagnostics specific to your model.
I hope this helps.
