Hi,
I'm using an HP Compaq 8000 Elite Base Model Small Form Factor Desktop PC.
I've just done a clean install of Windows 10 Creators Update, along with all subsequent Windows Updates. I'm currently missing a driver on PCI Serial Port and wondered if there might be a suitable driver available? I realise that due to the age of the machine, it has not been tested with Creators Update and there may not be a driver, but so far everything else seems to be working fine.
If I don't find a suitable driver, what would the impact be?
The hardware ID information is as follows:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2E17&SUBSYS_3646103C&REV_03
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2E17&SUBSYS_3646103C
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2E17&CC_070002
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2E17&CC_0700
Please let me know if there's any further info you require.
Many thanks,
Lee

Hi:
You need this driver for that device...
This package contains the Intel Local Management Service (LMS) and Serial-over-LAN (SOL) support for Intel Active Management Technology (AMT) for the supported desktop models and operating systems. This software is part of the Intel Digital Office Initiative.
