Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i recently bought an
HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15-ds1010wm
but i have a question, when i put it in sleep the power button light indicator turns off,and when i put it on sleep and for example move the mouse right away , the screen wakes up in the lockscreen then when it go back to sleep , the power button light indicator this time turns on. so why when i put it in sleep mode sometimes the light is on and sometimes is off, i dont understand. And when it is sleep and the light is off, how I am supposed to know if the laptop is on or off(without waking it up).

And another problem I faced today, sometimes when it is sleep, when I click the mouse one time, the light turns on a little bit and then it turns off without waking up, why!!!!!??? It is a brand new laptop!!! Please let me know why and how to solve these issues,
