Where is it blinking, by the charge port or the Caps Lock?  It certainly sounds like your charger is not working. Can you test it with a voltmeter?

  • The blinking light is on the charger port. Unable to check with volt meter. it's an universal charger.
  • 19 volts 65 watt.. I believe it's 24 amps..the charger that I was with the CPU when I got it was an universal charger.
  • It's been working for three years without any problems. Then this happened.
  • Now I don't even see the amber light when I push the power button.
  • I bought a brand new charger and..(universal) and same thing.. first blinking three times amber..now nothing.
