HP EliteBook 840 G7 notebook charging problem with HP USB-C Dock G5
I have 5 HP USB-C DOCK G5 with 5 new laptops that were working properly, but suddenly HP USB-C Dock G5 stopped charging the laptops.
I tried swapping the docking stations between the 5 failed notebooks, but it did not work, I tried with one without the failure and HP USB-C Dock G5 worked correctly, I reconnected to the failed pc and it did not work.
I read that I should update the firmware but it did not solve anything.

I already updated the docking station firmware, updated the HP drivers and updated Windows, and even formatted the Windows operating system.
Is there anything else I should do?
Please I need help I have 5 notebook with this fault and 17 others that works fine .
Laptop: HP EliteBook 840 G7 (Windows 10 Enterprise X64)
Docking Station : HP USB-C Dock G5

Please check them to see where is the culprit (dock or computer) by using a working dock for 5 computers or a working computer for 5 docks.

I have 22 laptops and 22 Docking Stations one for each PC.
This problem happened to me 5 pc only.
I carried out a test using the docking station of one of the pc with the problem in one of the remaining 17 without the problem and it worked correctly, which is to charge the battery of the pc through the docking station.
