HP ProBook 430 G3 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

probably since Win10 (came from Win7) or an update, the FN keys on my Probook 430 G3 won't work.

So far I've tried the following:

- manually installed the latest "HP Hotkey Support - UWP" (7.0.15.0 Rev.A, Oct. 2nd, 2019)

- All drivers updated via HP Support Assistant (latest version).

- HP Collaboration Keyboard sp94943 installed

Unfortunately (most) FN keys don't work (brightness, change screen source, mute, ...).

Anyone with an idea to solve it?

Thanks and regards,

Mario

--- German Version ---

Guten Tag,
vermutlich seit dem Umstieg auf Win10 (von Win7) oder einem Update funktionieren die FN-Tasten meines Probooks (430 G3) nicht.

Bisher habe ich folgendes versucht:
- manuell den aktuellen „HP Hotkey Support – UWP“ installiert (7.0.15.0 Rev.A, 2. Okt. 2019)
- über HP Support Assistant (aktuellste Version) alle Treiber aktualisiert
- HP Collaboration Keyboard sp94943 installiert

Leider funktionieren die (meisten) FN Tasten nicht (Helligkeit, Monitor-Quelle wechseln, Mute, …). Hat irgendjemand eine Idee?

Danke und Gruß,
Mario

Dear @Weimar-zero

Go to Device Manager and under controller  Components software ,find the following driver:

HP- LAN/WLAN/WWAN Switching and Hot Key Service

if this controller exists, see the version of the driver that should be:   8.10.23.1

Then revert to the driver to version 8.10.14.1
