Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm looking into upgrading the RAM on my Elitebook 850 G8 which currently has 16GB.  I've heard some RAM manufacturers don't work well and wanted to check to see which manufacturers are most compatible with this notebook.

Also, do both RAM chips have to be the same size in memory (one chip being 16GB and the other 32GB)?

I recommend Kingston memory. They guarantee compatibility.

For best results the modules need to be identical in all respects.

You also will get the added benefit of running in dual channel mode if the chipset is capable of it.
