Hi , so reseted my computer and it’s now saying ( repairing disk errors. This might take over an hour to complete, It started at around 9-10am and now it’s 10:40 pm for me and I’m not sure if I have to wait or do something

Does your laptop use a legacy disk for primary storage?
Yes, wait. If you do not wait the OS will crash and that is not good.
If I were you, I would consider upgrading to an M.2 PCIe, NVMe SSD.
You can purchase a 1TB M.2 PCIe, NVMe SSD for @$50.00 on Amazon.com.
If you want to know how to perform the upgrade just ask.
Since you are getting disk repair errors, you definitely need to consider reinstalling the OS.
Your OS is broken and should not be used as a cloning source to a new SSD.

Are you using File Explorer -->T"his PC --> Devices & drives --Tools tab--> Error checking --> Check " to fix the disk errors , chkdsk at the command line or the Windows powershell method described in the hyperlink below?

Hi so my question is how do I get out the screen that saying ( repairing disk errors. This might take over an hour to conplete) I tried resetting my computer and it puts me back on the same page to wait and I was wondering if there’s anyway to get back to the options page

There is an even more basic problem below the error screen.
Your operating system files may be corrupt and that may be the reason you can't get past the disk error message.
If the system image isn't healthy there will always be issues.
Kindly explain what you mean by resetting the computer.
If you mean doing a reset of Windows and it hasn't worked, you need to consider reinstalling the operating system instead.

Hello so by resetting I mean I was closing the shut down button for seconds for 3 times and nothing worked I’ve been stuck on the ( repairing disk errors , this might take over an hour page for over 2 days now and I’m not sure how to fix it

That is not resetting in any form or fashion.
You are approaching what may be an endless loop of issues if you do not fix your operating system.
If that is all you are doing, do not expect anything to change.
This is what resetting your PC is. See the second option? With the issue you are having, you will not be able to get to this screen.
You are not going to be able to get to settings to even see this screen.
If you would like your PC to be useable again, you will need to reinstall Windows.

Your OS is broken. Try booting and tapping the F11 key. There is an HP recovery solution, that if installed, may reinstall the OS on the laptop.
You may be able to get the data from the drive by using another PC and putting it into a powered USB enclosure.
As I said before, your current OS installation, as it stands is very unlikely to have a possibility of reset to a useable state.
You can go around in an endless loop of asking how do I fix it, but it is in a state where that is no longer a possibility.
I have let you know what you can do, but it is the extent of the help I can offer.
Good luck!
