Hello.
Need to upgrade the Hdd on my laptop omen. The HP website suggested that 1 TB 7200 rpm SATA is the option to go for. Can anyone find me one on sale in amazon or a reputable dealer in the UK, please?

Gtx 1050
Thanks

I would actually say an SSD is the way to go. 2.5 inch or M.2 would work. But yes a direct like kind replacement for your laptop would be a 2.5 inch SATA HDD such as this from amazon.uk:
Failure of the hard drive is actually an opportunity to think about a performance-enhancing SSD. Post back if you want help with that or anything else or please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.

If you could send a link of a compatible link for a SSD that is 1TB, I could replace it with that. Would be most helpful so I can compare prices.
Bad with tech.
Also would it benefit my gaming experience?
Thanks

Also, is this one better or is your one better?

I belive yours, mine; same product. Seagate Barracuda Pro.
SSD will help everything but gaming so if that is all that matters to you no need for an SSD. 1 TB SSD is going to run significantly more money than a regular mechanical hard drive. Well worth it however. Let me know if you still want to pursue the SSD:
