My rubber strip foot is falling off on my laptop and I can't find anywhere on the internet where to order a replacement. Does the serial and product number matter when ordering a replacement? Can anyone let me know where I can order a replacement and the information about my laptop I will need to know when ordering?
Thanks!

Hello @heidilk35,
Sorry to hear that. There are rubber feet associated with the laptop's model number. They all vary in size so you need to ensure you purchase the correct one.
Here's the information you need:
Rubber Kit (includes bottom cover rubber foot strip): For use only on computer models with model numbers 15-as100 through 15-as199
HP Spare Part number 905972-001
You can then use the HP Spare part number(s) in the HP Parts store here. You may also be able to find it elsewhere on the Internet.
Hope that helps,
Eddy

I was able to reattach the strip by peeling it completely off the laptop, removing the remaining adhesive with my fingers, then cleaning with alcohol. Then I put a strip of Scotch Permanent double sided tape on the laptop, trimmed it to fit the recess with a razor blade, and pressed the grip strip back in place.
