My Laptop is

HP 255 G7 Notebook PC (5LJ43AV)

Product number: 9VY51ES#ABB Serial number:

Microprocessor AMD Ryzen 3 2200U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx

16 GB

I have changed Nvme ssd( KBG30ZMV256G KIOXIA )  With the Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 500 GB Internal SSD  but working protocol is 1.2.(1500/1200) how can I change this protocol? is there some utility for change?

The series supports (per-installed)

Single hard drive configurations, 6.35 cm (2.5-in), 7.0 mm/7.2 mm/9.5 mm, SATA hard drives

  • 1 TB, 5400 rpm, 9.5 mm
  • 1 TB, 5400 rpm, 7.2 mm
  • 500 GB, 7200 rpm, 7.0 mm
  • 500 GB, 5400 rpm, 7.0 mm

M.2, SATA-3, solid-state drives

  • 256 GB, TLC
  • 128 GB, TLC

Looks like machine would not give full speed of NVMe PCIe 3x4. No utility to change the hardware.

Regards.
