HP Notebook - 15q-bu006tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi Community,

I want to upgrade to a ssd  along with the hhd for my HP-15q-bu006tu laptop. I have checked the manual(Hp-15q-bu000) and it says the laptop has a M.2 ssd adapter bracket. Also, in the manual, they have listed some ssds which are M2 SATA III.
Can I upgrade to M2 NVMe  3.0 or PCIe gen 4.0 SSDs?

Attaching the SS of the manual for reference.

Thanks & Regards,

The specs of your machine is

               https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05638247

It has Intel® Core™ i3-6006U (2 GHz, 3 MB cache, 2 cores) processor therefore it supports DUAL storage with M.2 SATA SSD + 2.5" HDD (or SSD).

It has 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA now, you can add M.2 SATA SSD to your machine. No, M.2 NVMe SSD won't work.

Regards.
