Spectre x360 13"
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Spectre notebook was excellent for three years, but not it is dead since the charging system is dead.

During three years, I noticed time to time no charging light comes on when the charger was plugged in but later comes on by itself. I thought it was just a connection problem and wiggled the plug and it seemed to work at that time.

Now, the charging light never comes on and the battery is completely drained.

I watched youtube that one company in Northridge fixing notebook power problem and tried that place, but no result. Just wasted a hundred dollar.

Anybody know a good place to fix this problem?

Hi@Gregpak, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Request you to follow the below troubleshooting steps:-

No Power - No lights:

Perform the below steps:

If the computer does not start, the LED lights do not glow, and the display is black,

you can perform one or more of the following actions to resolve the no power issue:

(Click on the blue letters to get more details about each step)

  1. Examine the adapter and power cord for physical damage

  2. Test the power from the AC wall outlet to the notebook connector

  3. Start the computer using the battery only

  4. Check that the lid switch moves freely

  5. When you have completed the troubleshooting steps, there should be power available to the computer. When you press the power button, the LEDs should glow, and you should hear the sounds of the fan and the hard drive spinning.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
