Hello, I purchased a Split X2 back in 2013. It ran well until a few months after and the keyboard (detatchable) stopped working. Took into bestbuy (where purchased) in 2014 to see if they could fix it. They diagnosed it, but didn't say what and that it would be a very expensive fix. Decided to just take it home and have a half working laptop. I brought it back out wanting to fix it up and give it another chance. I went on some other forums of people having the same issues, followed the troubleshooting documents and nothing worked. I was wondering if I should get a replacement keyboard or to take it to another repair place not part of a big company.
