HP ENVY 15 -j151ea
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I'm having some issues with my laptop HP envy 15-j151ea. Following some troubleshooting guides, the next step is to check the seating of the components behind the service door. However I cannot get it open.

I've removed the battery without problems and the screw to the service door is removed. Exactly as described in the Maintenance and Service Guide for this laptop. Then following the guide "Lift the rear edge of the service door (2) and swing it up and forward until it disengages from the computer" I can only lift the door where the screw is attached by roughly 3-4mm before it won't lift any further. The rear edge seems to be caught at 2-3 points further along the rear edge.

Any advice for unsticking the door? I don't want to use too much force and break the plastic.
