As windows 11 requires TPM 2.0,  I wanted to find the version.

TPM not shown on device manger, on BIOS startup security options and says compatible TPM can not be found on this computer when tmp.msc runs.
Tried updating TPM from sp81900, says TPM firmware update not supported.

Help appreciated.

Hi:

 

Even if your notebook had a TPM 2.0 device installed, your notebook's processor would not qualify to run W11.

 

The TPM device is located under a security devices category in the device manager.

 

If your notebook does not have a security devices category in the device manager, then it does not have a TPM.

 

In order to run W11, Intel PC's have to have an Intel 8th generation core processor, and yours is only a 5th gen core processor.
