Is it safe to remove the service lid in the bottom of a HP ZBook Fury 15.6 G8 Mobile, or will the Tamper Lock activate?

Depending on how it is set up in the BIOS it possibly could. Here is the Manual that explains how to temporarily disable it so the laptop can be serviced.

Thank you, Huffer for the advice. I had seen that there is a Tamper Lock manual, but the contents of it seemed a bit overwhelming. Now I know it's worth studying.
