Hoping someone can help me. I purchased an HP Care Pack in January when my warranty was going to end because I was told by the technician on the phone that the plan I would get covers accidental damage. Fast forward to March when I accidentally dropped my laptop and the screen shattered. I called the tech support line where I was then told the Care Pack that I purchased over the phone does not cover accidental damage and if I wanted to send it in I would have to pay an additional $400 to have it fixed (after paying almost $200 for the Care Pack.) I expressed my frustration because I was told I had purchased a plan that covered accidental damage. The woman offered me a refund that she said should appear on my next bank statement. So I took the laptop to a local shop and had it repaired. My refund wasn't on my next bank statement, so I called again. Needless to say since March 2020 I've spent over 8 hours on the phone every few weeks where someone in a new department tells me my claim has been escalated and they're very sorry but my refund should appear on my next statement. It's now the middle of August and I still haven't received my refund.  Wondering if anyone has any advice on who I can reach out to or what department I can reach out to so I get my refund.

No one has yet to reach out to me regarding this issue and it has been almost 2 weeks since you said someone would be reaching out.
