HP TS 15-n088sz
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The USB ports on my notebook and the touchscreen don't work any longer.

I assume that the reason for that is a win10 update.

The device manager shows me that the drivers for the host controller should be updated - but I have already installed the latest versions.  There are no other drivers available.

Is there anyone who encountered the same problem?

Is there any bug-fix?

Thank you in advance

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the driver issue.

Please try updating the computer using these steps -

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Download and install the BIOS, Chipset drivers from this link.

I tried the troubleshooting tool.

The ports still don't work.

What esle can I try?

Can you provide me any updated drivers for the USB devices?

Hi @NMP2

Appreciate you trying the steps. I'm afraid there are no drivers for USB available on the Software and Drivers page but HP Support Assistant and Windows Update will help install the latest updates for your Notebook PC.

As the issue still persists, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
