Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

There is a device in the Device manager that remains unidentified by a new windows installation (10), I've tried to find drivers through the usual methods (update driver, Windows update, and searching the HP site, but no luck.  Anyone have any idea what this is?

Hi, @TB415

I would be very surprised if sp84595 works, since the only hardware ID supported by that driver is this one...

[HP.ntamd64]
%DeviceDesc% = HPAccelerometerDriverInstall.ntamd64, ACPI\HPQ6007

You need this driver for the ACPI\VEN_HPQ&DEV_0004:

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp64001-64500/sp64144.exe

This driver has support for the hardware ID you posted...

[HP.ntamd64]
%DeviceDesc% = HPAccelerometerDriverInstall.ntamd64, ACPI\HPQ0004
