Hello.
I have extra DDR4 SODIMM memory SK HYNIX DDR-3200 (1600MHz). I wonder if it is worth to upgrade it from Samsung above which is currently in my laptop ? Any improve in performance after such a change ? Thanks for hints

According to the product specs, your notebook comes with 1 x 8 GB of memory.
HP Gaming Pavilion - 17-cd0020nw Product Specifications | HP® Support
Installing the 8 GB memory chip you have in the empty memory slot will do two things...
Double the memory to 16 GB.
Change the way the memory runs from the lower performing single channel mode to the higher performing dual channel mode.
Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the memory installation procedure:
h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06367545.pdf
Since your notebook's processor can only run the memory at a maximum speed of 2666 MHz, the DDR4-3200 memory will automatically bridge to 2666 MHz.
