Back when your ultrabook wa designed, M.2 SSD products were not available. They were develeoped after mSATA disks.

For that reason, there is no M.2 slot for an SSD drive in your notebook. There is an mSATA slot pesent.

Your only viable options is to use a SATA3 SSD or  SATA3 legacy hard drive and, if desired,  a mSATA SSD.  An example of an mSATA SSD is the Samsung SSD 960 PRO,

NVMe SSD products are incompatible with your notebook's BIOS.

There is no guarantee that the mSATA SSD will be able to be set as the primary boot disk. Your ultrabook is a 2012 model year unit and the BIOS may not accomodate that desire of yours.

Crucial memory makes SATA3 SSD products that are guaranteed to be compatible with your ultrabook.

Hi Erico,
