I would like to upgrade the wifi card in my HP Probook 470 G5 to a Wifi 6 card.
Device manager says that I have an "Intel Dual Band-AC8265" card
What are the compatible wifi 6 cards for this laptop?
Do I need a wifi card that is specifically branded for HP?
Thanks for any advice

Either one of these two cards should work.
Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E 2x2 AX + Bluetooth 5.2 M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # / SPS # M27269-005
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 802.11ax 2 × 2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 5 (non-vPro) HP part #/Intel SPS # L35282-005
The SPS # on the Intel card has to match the HP part number.
That's the only thing that matters.
Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure:

You're very welcome.
HP does not make computer components-certainly not wireless cards.
They put HP part number labels on the components they use or sell.
The Intel Wi-Fi card you buy has to have the M27269-005 or the L35282-005 SPS# on the white label on the Intel card.
That matches the HP part #.
Where you buy the card is of no concern.
For example, the AX210: Just make sure you see that M27269-005 SPS # on the card as shown in the picture of the Wi-Fi card at the link below.
