Product: 15 af006AX
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
I have added an additional 4GB RAM to my Notebook. But system shows the newly added RAM as unusable, in Task Manager it is shown as Hardware Reserved. The added RAM is same as of the previous one onboard, there are no changes in Frequency or type. The system detects that there is 8GB of RAM in total(2X4GB). I have checked it on Windows 8.1,Windows 10 and Linux. Its shown in the BIOS as well. I have tried every solution within Windows such as changing Maximum Memory and paging . There is no option of Remapping memory in the BIOS. BIOS version is f.28. Any solutions?
