I just wanted to ask about the possible upgrades for my HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 16-a0047n, Specifically the RAM and SATA since there's not much info about this model specifically

HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 16-a0047n is an invalid model/product, it it an HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 16-a0047nr machine ? Its specs

Manual says it supports 16GB of RAM max (page 1) and dual storage M.2 SSD + 2.5" HDD. It has 1TB od HDD now, you can add a standard M.2 NVMe SSD to your machine such as

So from what I understand, a SATA SSD is non compatible to the HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 16-a0047nr model?

  • If you wish to upgrade existing 1TB SATA drive, you can use a standard SATA SSD. It is compatible.
  • If you wish to add M.2 SSD, you can use M.2 NVMe SSD, better and faster.
