HP Notebook - 15t-da200 CTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Today I turned on my computer and within about ten minutes it shut off and when I turned it back on I received this message:

HP Battery Alert
BIOS has detected that the environmental ambient operating temperature is too low. Please move your system in a warmer location or operating your unit for a while might resolve this condition. If the condition persists or if you have an older system, please contact HP service.
Low temperature alert (607)ENTER - Continue Startup

When I turned on the computer it was in a room temperature room.

I also tested the batter in HP Support assistant and it said it was very weak and needed to be replaced but after it charged to 100 percent it said it was okay and didn't need replacing. I am able to use the computer without it being plugged in and the battery doesn't go down too fast.

What does it sound like is wrong?

Hi @jacquelynm ,

It sounds like the battery is having issues and needs to be replaced with a new one.

It may be approaching the end of its service life cycle. Since your notebook is a 2019 model, that is likely to be the case.
