Hi,
Max RAM is 16GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM (2x8GB)
The RAM will run at 2133MHz (even if you insert faster RAM)
Ex:
https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hP---Compaq/hp-15-ba028ur#memory
On page 46 of service manual you can see the steps to install the RAM

You should also consider replacing the HDD with an SSD which would give a good boost to the everyday performance of the notebook.
