Thank you. Last 2 things. What motherboards are compatible with my laptop, and also my laptop has been running slow lately. I tried everything but it wouldn't budge. My cpu is always running on a high speeds and so is my memory and HDD. Everyone is recommending to get extra RAM, but I'm afraid if I do so the CPU will have more workload and therefore it will make the laptop worse. Is that true?

The extra RAM, at least 4GB and the SSD will greatly improve the everyday peformance of the laptop.
Replacing the motherboard would be a difficult and expensive job. Probably not worth it as you could probably buy a better second hand PC for the cost.
Take care,
David

SSDs are just as reliable as hard drives in many cases more so. When they first became a thing like 6 years ago durability was a concern but they are holding up fine. And they do not erase. Motherboards are listed in the Service Manual. The motherboard has the processor soldered on so they are expensive. Almost never a smart cost-effective move to replace the motherboard. The better ones tend to be nearly impossible to find, anyway.
