Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello, my HP 15s-eq2897nd have problems because I think the CMOS battery is empty.  I have open the notebook but I don't no where the CMOS battery is located.

Can someone help me please? I have the notebook for over 5 month but I just want to replace the battery. Not the accu.

I want to place a foto but I don't no how.

Why? Does the date/time require resetting each time you log into the notebook?

Newer notebooks do not have a CMOS battery.

That ship has sailed. They use an EEPROM chip for the BIOS that gets its power from the main battery.

Would you mind rephrasing that? I didn't quite understand.  Do you mean make changes in the BIOS settings? Boot up from and Off state and tap the F10 to invoke the BIOS. From that point you can make changes to the available options (Date/time, etc.).

Your notebook does not have a CMOS battery.

See the Illustrated Parts list in the Maintenance & Service guide at the hyperlink below. The only battery in the notebook is the main battery.
