I want to upgrade the laptop through an ssd but i am not sure whether there is a dedicated M2 slot for ssd or not.
If someone knows and can help me that will be great.

Probably it does. It looks like this inside:
This slot if present would only support a SATA M.2 not the faster NVME kind. But you want to open the laptop before buying anything to confirm the presence of the slot. On this model series we have had quite a few users post pictures showing the M.2 slot missing at the place it is shown in the Manual.
Start on p. 29 to remove the back cover.
Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.
