Hi,
I have the probook 4530s and have just upgraded the software to windows 10 without any issues.
i am wondering which cpu i can upgrade to the probook specs are as follows:
Processor: Intel Core i3 2350M
motherboard: HP 167C KBC Version 22.24
Chipset: Intel Sandy Bridge Rev. 09
Socket: 988b rPGA
Also i have ddr3 8GB ram can i upgrade to 16?

Hi Scott,
On page 97 of service manual you can see the various compatible processors and steps to replace. Remember to remove old thermal material and use quality paste between CPU/GPU and heatsink such as Arctic MX4 or similar. You canremove old paste with lintfree cloth and alcohool and scrape any hard bits with a soft plastic tool.

Max RAM is 8GB of DDR3 1333Mhz RAM (2x4GB)
Best to get a kit of 2x4GB to benefit from dual channel support. Here is an example of RAM (page 2 service manual)

Another upgrade you could consider which will increase everyday performance would be to replace the mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD.
