can I upgrade my processor to a newer more advanced one?? My module number is HP ENVY TS 15 Notebook PC. S/N is [edit]my product number is E9W31AV#ABA.

Hi,

I answered your other post without knowing the exact model number of the PC and the "age" of the PC. Yes, you can upgrade the CPU. At the moment I believe you have the I7-4700MQ so if we look at page 75 of service manual we can see the compatible CPUs. The max being  the i7-4900MQ. Probably will not make a huge difference.

I would max out the RAM and insert an SSD instead of the CPU upgrade.
