If you have a home network, you can transfer them over the network. Or back them up on a portable drive, then move the portable drive to the new laptop. Or you can use a usb flash drive. There's a lot of variables involved, depending on your particular situation. How much data is it you have to move?

more than a gigabyte, I'd be inclined to do it over your home network.
Do you have a home network where you can see the other computers?
Do you have an external storage drive?
Do you have a large flash drive, say 256GB?
