Hi, I wonder if my x360 Envy m6-aq005dx supports a SSD M.2 250GB NVMe. (2280)

I know it supports M.2 sata, but what about the NVMe?

Thank you!

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

As per the Service Guide: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05098448 the HP ENVY x360 - m6-aq005dx does not support NVME SSD

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Solution Accepted" on this Post and it will also help other community members with similar issue.

Thank you for answering @KrazyToad

Yes, that was what I thought, but I have found numerous posts about upgrading Succesfully m6 aq1XXdx with NVMe Ssd. Instead of the manual (that is the same as mine aq0XXdx)

so.. im in doubt

for example: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Successful-Installation-of-Sam...

what do you think about it?

To get the answer to this question, you could change the configuration at your own discretion. as they are not tested by HP and may not be accurate.
