Unfortunately, I cannot be of further assistance with this matter.

 

I have never tried this myself, and don't even own a notebook that came with W8.

 

I have provided the best information I could.

Yes, I think you would be better off trying W7 x64 because that is what the other folks installed and the drivers worked for most of them.
