HP Notebook - 15-bw034na
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Have a  HP Notebook - 15-bw034na and had it over 3 years and never used due to the 100 disk usage which I have tried to stop over the last 3 years and always give up. That time of the year again when I give it a go. Tried lots of online forums tricks and watched hours of videos on youtube but never seem to stop the usage at 100%.

Any new tips are welcomed.

Many thanks

@DavidBerry9

In order to help, we need to know the actual disk issue.

Disk Usage is the amount of SPACE used on the disk. If it was actually 100%, Windows would not boot or would work so slowly as to be useless.

Disk Utilization is the amount of WORK the disk is doing -- a measure of how busy it is.  And that will easily hit 100% every week when Windows update patches get applied.

So, which of these is actually the case?

Thank you for your reply.

The disk utilization is the issue. When on task manager it states 100% of the disk is being used.

I have reinstalled windows 10. I have applied all the updates on the system. Turned off windows search and still unable to get the disk utilization below 100%.
