Hi @Jabbaspalace,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Two short beeps on an HP Envy laptop typically indicate a hardware issue related to the BIOS (Basic Input/Output System). Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue.
- Restart Your Laptop: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve temporary issues. Power off your laptop completely and then turn it back on.
- Check for BIOS Updates: Visit the HP support website for your specific model of HP Envy and check if there are any BIOS updates available. Updating the BIOS can sometimes resolve beep code issues.
- Check RAM and Connections: Ensure that your RAM modules are seated properly in their slots. If you recently installed new RAM or made changes to your laptop's hardware, recheck those connections.
- Reseat Other Components: If possible, reseat other components such as the hard drive and any expansion cards to ensure they are properly connected.
- Check for Dust and Debris: Dust and debris can sometimes cause connectivity issues with hardware components. Clean out any visible dust from your laptop's vents and ports.
- Check for Software Issues: Since you mentioned the issue occurs when browsers are open, it might also be related to software. Ensure your browsers are up to date and try running a malware scan to rule out any software-related issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
