Product: HP Pavilion 24-xa All-in-One Desktop PC (5KF24AV)

My keyboard and mouse have been working absolutely fine for a couple years. However, recently, when I turned on my PC I got a "Keyboard Error" message on startup. Worked out that my wired keyboard/mouse would only work on the middle port; they wouldn't register if on the left or right port. I tested those ports to work out if it was an actual PC issue, but my USB desktop fan and phone charger work just fine. How do I fix this so my Keyboard/Mouse will connect to all of them?
